You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

  • Possess a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline with 1+ years of experience working in the area of biomechanics or human performance
  • Comfortable with data processing and visualization using MATLAB or a related program
  • Have experience with statistics and experimental test matrix design as well as hands-on experience utilizing mechanical sensors and analyzing/interpreting data
  • Have knowledge of anatomy and physiology in the context of biomechanics and human performance
  • Are self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy working in a team environment with associated strong communication skills
  • Are able to obtain a Secret security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
  • Can demonstrate that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. You'll exceed the minimum requirements if you...

  • Have experience as a Principal Investigator leading Human Subject Research (HSR) studies for human performance studies and are familiar with common Institutional Review Board (IRB) policies and timelines
  • Have experience developing and deploying machine learning methods and data analytics to biomechanics or human performance metrics
  • Seek to drive the future of human performance, including human augmentation and enhancement
  • Are motivated to resolve complex engineering problems as a team, discuss progress with supervisors and peers, and present results to a variety of audiences
  • Experience leading teams of researchers with a track record of success
  • Familiarity with human body modeling software such as OpenSim
