We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter to help us improve the productivity of business users by enabling simplified access to consistent information. These modernization efforts will eliminate the need for manual procedures to collect and process data from multiple legacy systems.

As a Data Integration Developer, your main responsibility will be to design, develop and implement Data Integration solutions that support new and existing data sources, data virtualizations and business analytics.

In this role you will...

  • Analyze and document data sources and business requirements by interviewing users; defining, analyzing, and validating data objects; identifying the relationship among data objects.
  • Design, develop, implement data structures and Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) applications for data warehouse and analytics repositories; data virtualization applications (Denodo) that provide data from enterprise data sources to applications and business analytics, including dashboards and reporting; enterprise reporting, Business Intelligence, and data analytics solutions across a wide variety of business and operational domains
  • Validate data integration by defining and executing test plans and scenarios including data design, tool design, data extract/transform, networks, and hardware.
  • Provide operational support for data warehouse, data virtualization and business analytics components. Build and maintain system documentation for these systems.
  • Develop and support data catalog and governance applications.

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

 

  • Possess a BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field or equivalent IT related training, certification, and professional years of IT related work experience
  • Have 7or more years of data warehouse and business analytics design and development. Demonstrate a practical understanding of implementation methodologies, architectures and designs
  • Have 7 or more years of experience in data analysis and/or data integration development (e.g. ETL, data virtualization)
  • Have experience working with business users and senior-level management users to determine information needs and effective delivery methods
  • Have practical knowledge and experience with both entity-relationship and dimensional data modeling
  • Have the ability to balance multiple tasks with high attention to detail
  • Are able to work both in a team environment and independently
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills
  • Are willing to work the occasional weekend and/or after hours as required to meet critical project/work-related business needs 
  • Can demonstrate that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. You'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you...

  • Have an advanced degree in a related field

  • Have experience with database design and data modeling for an analytics solution
  • Have experience with the following tools and technologies: Denodo, Oracle database design and PL/SQL; Informatica Power Center; Microsoft SQL Server, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS and Power BI; Erwin, Collibra
