We are seeking a rock-solid, full-stack software engineer skilled in Java, Angular, Spring, Oracle, and related development technologies to meaningfully contribute to the development of enterprise-wide applications. You will be joining a diverse team of application developers who excel at creating software solutions for our enterprise customers. We are passionate about adding value to the Lab with our applications, and we expect our developers to have a versatile skill set and the motivation to be involved in the entire SDLC as a member of a small development team. You will apply your programming skills across the full application stack; collaborate with other developers on creative design, implementation, and troubleshooting; and interact directly with customers for requirements and support.

 

You'll meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you have...

  • A Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related technical fields or equivalent years of professional level experience
  •  5  or more years of experience and high proficiency with Java, Angular, Oracle, Spring, Hibernate, and similar full-stack software development technologies in crafting and maintaining enterprise-class applications, to include: web apps, web services, headless apps, and integrations
  • 5 or more years of direct responsibility for software analysis and development with knowledge and experience in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment/hosting, troubleshooting, and operational support
  • Teamwork skills to collaborate verbally and in writing with the development team, server and database administrators, customers, and management
  • The ability to demonstrate that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. You'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you have ...

  • Experience implementing devops processes (e.g. automated build/deploy, automated testing)
  • Experience with Linux and Tomcat system administration
  • Experience with JSF, Primefaces, Python, scripting languages (e.g. bash)
  • Experience with other technology stacks
  • Knowledge of application and data security, including OWASP Top 10 and CVE vulnerabilities and remediation
  • Strong understanding of application design patterns and principles
