We are seeking an individual to help us build and maintain a world-class engineering and manufacturing ecosystem. 

 

 

As an application support engineer for mechanical 3D CAD and Windchill PLM users, you will ...

 

  • Support day-to-day operations through direct interactions with customers and creative troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Develop documentation to support user training and application administration
  • Help transition existing product lifecycle system into a model-based methodology
  • Assess and implement IT security requirements and user enhancement requests
  • Evaluate system-level impact based on future changes such as cloud services

 

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

 

  • Have a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience using, supporting, or administering 3D mechanical engineering applications
  • Experience using, supporting, or administering a product lifecycle management software application
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a coordinated team
  • Excellent verbal and written communications to document and present technical work to a broad audience

 

 

 

You'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you...

 

 

  • Experience using PTC Creo or Dassault Systemes SolidWorks 3D CAD applications
  • Experience using PTC Windchill PLM application
  • Familiarity with configuration management practices for developing hardware products
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow IT management application and ITIL
