You meet our minimum qualifications if you...


  • Have a PhD in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a closely related field and one year of experience.


  • Have a proven record of research accomplishments and publications in the field of gate-based quantum computing.


  • Experience with programming and software development.


  • Are willing to occasionally travel to sponsor sites, conferences and workshops.


  • Are able to obtain a TS/SCI w/ Polygraph security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and need to meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.


  • Can demonstrate that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.   • Have experience with developing new schemes for quantum error correction.


  • Knowledge and experience with implementing quantum noise characterization and control techniques.


  • Have high-performance-computing experience.


  • Have a record of significant contributions on collaborative projects pursuing highly sophisticated objectives.


  • Have experience working closely with theorists and experimentalists
